Arcos de Canasí

Arcos de Canasí is a small town and municipality in the west of the Matanzas Province of Cuba. The municipality coveres 125 km². The town was founded in 1738 at the mouths of the Rio Canasi. Due to frequent flooding, the town was moved to higher ground in 1808, on the actual location. Area Code: 45
